The mind is conditioned to do what you've been doing, until one gives it a logical or mindful reason to reform it's activities until activity ceases all together.
Our goal is to inspire the youth within our Clayton community to live their fullest lives possible. Living beyond habitual behavior to create a positive environment within the mind which spills over into all areas of life as their way of living becomes their greatest skill.
With that being said, strength, power and speed are the attributes to mindfulness in the same way their attributes to athleticism. Anything that may be used to go beyond teach, bring about an awareness which replaces thoughts and memorizing with the knowing. As result, the misdirected energy which is traditionally used to "make others believe" is no longer wasted. Energy being wasted attempt to prove who (which is typically confused with what) requires a constant outpouring of energy.
To contrast, knowing allows the mind to rest, which then spills over to the body, making rest another aspect of mindfulness. Without mindfulness, there is no rest and without rest and recovery from this "world of thought" or the "state of mind" which dominates thoughts, actions and of course outcomes we refer to as our lives.
Therefore rising above the traditional approach of "chasing who" is typically a search for "what" you are and for youth, what your about creates a reflection, a mental image of self as the seeker of_______, not the guy who is_______. Everything which is seen shapes who you believe yourself to be. What's seen in the mind perpetually shapes a young person's life and therefore making the skill of mindfulness the number #1 skill HP skill set.
Knowing who you really are, is code for rising above their programming to see themselves as they where, is the reflection of a higher who of you. What you see is what you get, living beyond addictive thoughts allows for the habit to energize, no longer drawing unconscious energies spillage.

People attempt to define self with the things we are doing, gaining which tends to indicate that we are or be something, when in reality what one be has nothing to do with what they do or have. Being is a state not an action, description or something to gain or acquire. Being is not the absence of thoughts or action, but in fact it is more seeing or obersiving the thoughts that suggest that your are it and not the one which can see the habitual actions or behavior separate of the observation. This is the break at which one awakens to the fact that mind comes before action.
This is what we refer to in regards to seeing things universally, less of a view point or fixed at specific points of view, which indicates their is a persona behind the perception. Changes in perception indicates changes in in the persona or personality from which it is being seen. This is the fundamental challenge behind happy and suffering, as long as we see what is desired we are happy, experieincing a very familiar feeling or being ones "self".
From this play we say this is me, this is who I am and this is what I am about. Truthfully this is no moe than a report of what is being perceived at that moment. This is known as truth as we all experience swings in emotional feelings. One minute we are happy and suffering the next. The wide array of emotions and the lack of stability from the mental, emotional states where "feeling" is real and acts as a filter for what my be seen.
One must feel successful to see success and ultimately success is the idea of letting go the need to be labeled as a success and get on with success through a stillness which is typically misunderstood as if it's the same as taking "No action".
I often say meditation on reality requires more muscles than a bench press or squat. Billions of people workout training the body daily, yet miss this aspect of being fit, healthy and performing at the top of their game.
HP Helps Kids To Get Real
Putting reality to the test is our claim to fame. Slow today fast tomorrow, as we always say. One of the best ways to teach the above lesson is to help young students become more than what they imagined, with the ability to look back to see the path, until one day they are able to see it out in front of themselves as well.
Testing the reality of their existence... is what most kids as well as adults, this what known as "I'll show them attitude" or "look at me, I am...." This is accepted as normal behavior, and is practically at the root of all habitual behaviors. which are linked to the actions which supposedly prove you are what you 'think", "say" and thought to be. This mistaken identity is also at the root of the suffering. In case of religious experience, one still carries a perception, image from a mentalization which points away from within. When the mind is working, its because it is under the infleunce of what is with-out instead of with-in.
Thought is the beginning and the end of reality. Like a fishing line, the mind can cast an anchor with bait, fishing for a bite of on reality, with every fish supposedly realed (pun intended) the more real the world being casted by the one fishing must be. What is seen on the line and the response other have to it once we pull it out of the water is in fact who we believe ourselves to be. The entire feeling, emotions, experiences, material trappings etc... all of these things are eternalized as a who and therefore the feelings and thoughts associated become frequents acts, becoming routine and eventually habitual. I think it's safe to say to most kids they are no more no less than how they feel in any given moment.
As parents we feel this suffering and it is or desire for our kids not to feel this way. Whether we over extend or under extend or oursleves in the effort to save or prevent our kids from suffering we too suffer and as a resultcreate more suffering for the kid as they now are led to believe it is their fault that you as a parent is suffering as a result of or beause who they are.
LIVING MINDFULLY

Knowing how to do the motion doesn't guarantee thatthe student understands the movements involved and certainly lacks the understanding of the mechanical aspects. In due time students learn to see many layer beyond the present moment by virtue of developing a knowing regarding their our instruction, demonstration and their actions. Understand rthe higher context provides students to grow leaps and bounds ahead of their counterparts who tend to lack the overall perspective of the big picture.

5 FUNDAMENTALS OF VIBE MASTERY THROUGH ATHLETICISM.
- VALUES: Values are the thoughts, ideas and concepts that "champions are made in the off-season" stand out like . In other words, they inspire and drive us higher. Values are far less conscious than a belief which makes them practically invisible to our youth (at least most of them). VIBING as we call it, helps students identify with their preexisting values, challenging them and raising the bar and setting new goals in relation to their values .
- IDENTITY: Changing who you are is NOT the goal, it's not recommended ands nor is it even possible . Are stance is that the "who" or "me" is more so the work of imagination when it comes to youth and there views on "who" they really are or most importantly to them "who they want to be or become". Becoming a better athlete literally requires the acquisition of skills and an overall attitude regarding the aspiration, however, thinking that these accomplishments inoculates or immunity to pain, suffering would be misleading. Instead we teach students to focus more so on the entity which affects, trains and develops the body which truly requires no name as development is perpetual and by the time they set out to achieve their goal, they are in fact different from the person who had yet taken the step. Therefore we focus our students on the mindfulness that "I" is a perception and happiness is dependent upon them becoming aware of the "I" responsible for the goals etc.. Anything else would be a another version of the same persona, using the same faulty beliefs to propping up the next persona, repeating the cycle until it's clearly seen through, it's much like a carnival mirror. " The goal is to see that this is the goal isn't possible when we are so much more than a some-one or some-body.
- BEHAVIOR / HABITS: Goal setting in an of itself is a change of behavior for most kids. Setting goals is the precursor to change for newer developing minds. For example, developing the ability to overcome obstacles, having the power to apply strength quickly, in an instant when need. Be capable of moving with stability, minimizing to eliminating any lost of speed and effectiveness. This is HP training perspective regarding life, every workout prepares HP students learn to the field of life and how their physical prep is the mental or power of will also as a skill which is transferred into both fields. For instance, student realize basic challenges such regiment, getting up early in the morning, eating better, or being less confrontational or more proactive is at the root of our training.
- ENVIRONMENT: For any outcome (life and sport), there conditions which first must be met make those outcomes more likely to happen.
